January Club Layout (And my first two pages of the year!)

Ok, Here it is:

This month we will be scrapbooking our Christmas photos - well in my case it's 2001! We will be using some of the papers in the "Jingle" pack. The colours used on this layout are Tulip, Juniper, Creme Brulee & White Daisy. We will also be creating the scalloped papers with the EK Success Corner Rounder. If you have one, please bring it with you. It has to be the green one with the removable bottom. This is what it looks like:
Also, it may be hard to see in the photo but we will be doing some dry embossing as well. I embossed all the letters in the title as well as the "presents". Here's a closeup:


And you'll get some Twinkle Brads on your layout as well.

Challenge 2010

Well, since we all love a challenge once in a while, I have decided to join some fellow CTMH consultants in a year long scrapbooking challenge. The challenge is to set a goal of how many pages you will get done in the year. The suggested number is between 120 - 150 but of course you need to be realistic for yourself. I have decided to go with 110!!! It's a high number but if I can manage 2 pages a week for 52 weeks, that brings me to 104 plus a few extras. I welcome you to join in too. You'll see the links down the left column under the heading Challenge 2010. Feel free to check out those Consultant's pages also. We have some very talented ladies with CTMH.

Keep Warm...

Hope you're all keeping warm in these frigid temperatures. We've been spoiled for so many weeks and now winter seems to have rushed here. My plan is to stay indoors as much as possible and try to get lots of scrapbooking done. Right now I'm working on finishing up pages that have been laying around incomplete for a while then I can start working on some new pages. Keep warm....
